The ING card is linked to your current account. This bank card enables you to pay for purchases and withdraw cash at home and abroad. The ING card can be equipped with the following functions:

• Bancontact/Mister Cash: You can pay for purchases with your ING card in any shop that has an electronic payment terminal, and withdraw cash at any Bancontact/Mister Cash machine. You will only find Bancontact/Mister Cash in Belgium.
• Maestro: Maestro enables you to pay for purchases and withdraw cash abroad. You pay by keying in the PIN number of your bank card or by signing the sales voucher. You can do this in any shop or using any cash machine showing the Maestro logo.
• Proton: Ideal to pay for small purchases in Belgium. You can top-up your Proton (maximum 125 euro) at any Bancontact/Mister Cash machine and in any Self'Bank. In order to load it, you need the PIN code of your bank card. In the shop, you pay by putting your card in the Proton terminal and pressing OK.

The benefits an ING card:

• Thanks to Proton, you don't have to pay with small change
• Access to Self'Bank. You can withdraw cash and perform all your routine transactions.
• Security. You receive a secret Personal Identification Number (PIN code). You can change this code yourself.

If you have an ING Green Account as a current account, you do not pay any extra charge for your bank card. You receive a bank card equipped with:

• Bancontact-Mister Cash: pay for purchases and withdraw cash in Belgium.

• How much can you take out? The maximum you can withdraw or spend is the amount available in your current account, within the limits agreed with your ING branch. "Payment and withdrawal" service - Standard conditions for seven days (gliding week):

• Withdrawal: 2500 euro
• Payment: 5000 euro

• Proton: small purchases in Belgium

• How much can you spend? Maximum 125 euro.

• Additional services

You can have your card equipped with the Maestro function. This costs you 9 euro per year. With Maestro, you can make payments and withdraw cash abroad. You pay by your keying in your PIN code or by signing the sales voucher.

• How much can you take out? The same amount (equivalent in local currency) that you can take out from the Bancontact/Mister Cash network in Belgium, i.e. maximum of the amount available in your current account, within the limits agreed with your ING branch.

• Can I pay for purchases and withdraw cash abroad?

Your ING card can be equipped with the Maestro function. With this, you can use it in shops and cash dispensers displaying the Maestro logo, just about anywhere in the world. With Maestro, you pay by your keying in your PIN code or by signing the sales voucher.

• Can I pay with Proton abroad?

No, Proton only works as a means of payment in Belgium.

• What do I do if I lose my bank card?

Call Card Stop immediately on 070 344 344 (00 32 70 344 344 from abroad). If you don't have that number with you at the time: you can access it via your Phone'Bank menu. Your bank card will then be frozen immediately, and replaced free of charge.
