International transfers are payments to countries outside the European payment area (SEPA) and payments in a currency other than the euro. You need an IBAN and BIC for most payments.
An international transfer is used in the following cases:
- payments in euros if the beneficiary is the holder of an account in a country outside the SEPA zone*.
- payments in a currency other than the euro
