A dossier in ING Multi Mandate is the virtual equivalent of a client’s paper dossier, where you keep together all the files and information (like client details, stakeholders details, accounts, related documents, etc.) for that client.
Can I still use it for other payments?
Adding a beneficiary to a dossier allows you to manage payments for that beneficiary without having to fill-in the payments details every time.
One beneficiary (eg: Lampiris, Proximus, Engie, etc.) can be linked to several dossiers.
A relevant date in a dossier allows you to be reminded about related court reporting events.
Will the accounts information in it still be updated?
You can archive a dossier by opening its Dossier details and clicking Archive dossier.
An archived dossier will appear greyed out and will not be selectable any more in any dropdown option.
However, its linked accounts are still selectable (e.g. to create a payment).
select the dossier Accounts tab where you can still process a payment as usual.
All active accounts will still be updated independently from the dossier status.
To find your archived dossier, make it visible via the filter:
select "Show all" or "Archived" then click on Apply filters!
An archived dossier will appear in a grey colour:
To restore an archived dossier, select the "Dossier",
go to "Dossier details" and click on "Restore dossier":
