AXA Supplementary Pension Plan for the self-employed

Build up a solid fund for your pension

As a self-employed person your statutory pension is only half that of an employee, so ING offers you a pension plan which is twice as good. With this pension plan, you build up a solid fund for your future, while reducing your taxes and social security contributions now. Worth thinking about!

  • Specially for self-employed people

With the option of deducting the money you save against tax as a business expense.

  • Double savings

You enjoy tax breaks and also reduce the level of your social security contributions.

  • Advance payment option

Use part of your capital at any time for the purchase or renovation of a residential property in the euro zone.

  • Guaranteed returns, or potentially higher returns

Choose between a guaranteed return of 0.75% or a potentially higher profit share that is not guaranteed.

  • Combinable with other plans

Combine the benefits of your PSPS (Private Supplementary Pension Savings) with other pension saving plans, to build up a handsome sum for your retirement.

Are you tax resident in Belgium, self-employed full-time or part-time, or an assisting spouse?
Then you can enjoy the double benefits of the PSPS for a minimum period of five years and pay in up to your 65th birthday, or longer if you are still working and paying social security contributions. The minimum term of your policy is five years.

You pay a 1% management fee and a maximum of 5% in entry fees on each premium paid.

  • Take advantage of the tax breaks: You can deduct the amount of the premiums you pay in as business expenses. Since the premiums are tax-deductible, your professional income, which serves as the basis for calculating your future social security contributions, is also reduced.
  • Reduce your future social security contributions: Since your premiums are tax-deductible, your professional income, which serves as the basis for calculating your social security contributions, is also reduced.

  • You can choose to pay premiums monthly, quarterly or annually. The minimum amount is 100 euros annually and 50 euros per deposit. The maximum amount is 3127,24 euros per year (2017 income – 2018 tax year)*.

Choose between 2 formulas:

  • A guaranteed interest rate of node=/RATES/IBPP/GEW_RENTE;replace=html%* or a potential return under the branch 21 life insurance "Stars for life secure". Your cash deposits are invested passively in a fund that tracks the performance of a bond index as closely as possible.
  • A possibly higher return in the long term under the branch 21 life insurance, "Stars for life crest". The return is not guaranteed and depends on the performance of the fund to which the life insurance is linked. This fund actively invests in bonds. This means that the managers are constantly seeking to improve the composition of the portfolio to maximise your return.

Calculate your PSPS and discover how much you could save on your taxes and social security contributions in the future.

* A guaranteed interest rate applies to every cash deposit made from 10/01/2016 until this interest rate is changed. Any future cash deposits are capitalised at the guaranteed interest rate in effect at the time of transferring the funds to AXA Belgium NV.
