If you are about to map out your professional career, you will also want to have a few certainties.
And yes, you can borrow during your internship.
ING believes it is important to give everyone as many opportunities as possible to develop to their full potential.
Have you recently come across the perfect location for your future practice, or have you seen the house of your dreams?
Do you already want to invest in medical equipment?
Or are you looking for funding for your exchange program?
An early start is half the battle! This proverb certainly applies when it comes to saving for a pension. The sooner you start, the bigger your supplementary pension pot will be. Did you know that your contributions will give you a tax benefit?
There are three possibilities:
- You deposit a maximum of € 990 per month with tax relief of 30% or deposit more than € 990 up to a maximum of € 1,270. But here the tax relief is a little lower.
- You spend your INAMI/RIZIV allowance on a Voluntary Supplementary Pension for the Self-Employed.
- You combine the two formulae
Sui Generis covers your internship payments and some social security benefits.
It puts you in the same position as doctors covered by tariff agreements, but does not entitle you to some benefits such as unemployment benefit, holiday pay and thirteenth month pay.
You do not accumulate any state pension entitlements either. But you can make up for this by means of INAMI/RIZIV contributions.
