The timing of our letter depends on how often you visit your branch. In this way, we are sure that you are informed in good time before your next branch visit. We deliberately chose not to send the letter early in order to avoid it being left unread or getting lost. We also sent you a message in Home’Bank and put up posters in your old branch.

There are various reasons for this move.

  1. The presence of a larger branch in the area
By moving your branch to a larger branch in the same area, we are able to help our customers better. There is also always a specialist available for every subject on which you require advice.

  2. Increasing digitisation
Fewer and fewer customers are visiting the branch because they are making increasing use of Home’Bank or Mobile Banking. However, you can still always visit your branch for your everyday transactions or for the help and advice of our employees and specialists.

You have various options:

  1. On a computer at home, at work or elsewhere. You have direct access to this secure environment via ing.be.

  2. The mobile applications for smartphone or tablet. In this way, you always have your bank at your fingertips.

  3. >Home’Bank on one of the computers in the public areas of our branches. You can access them during the opening hours of the branch. Our employees are also ready to assist if you need help in this regard.

  4. You can also perform many transactions in a Self’Bank. You will definitely find a Self'Bank in your area.

You have various options:

  1. Home'Bank on a computer at home, at work, etc. You have direct access to this secure environment via ing.be.

  2. The mobile applications for smartphone or tablet. In this way, you always have your bank at your fingertips.

We will contact you personally because this needs to be emptied, in principle, a short time before the move. You can, of course, request a new safe at your new branch.

You can no longer use the night safe if the branch moves. Is there no night safe at your new branch? You will definitely find one in your area.

We do not yet know what will happen to the building. This will be studied in depth by our Facility Management division.

There is a good chance that you will see their familiar faces in your new branch! In any event, most employees will be working at other branches in your area.

We do not yet know exactly who is going to which branch or internal division of ING. There is a good chance that you will see your designated contact person again in your new branch!

That is possible. Some branches are indeed being merged in the building of one of the branches. You can view this as a pooling of strengths, service and expertise.

The new branch for each customer has been chosen based on their specific needs. The employees of your new branch are completely familiar with your file and are thus the most appropriate people to assist you in the further management of your finances. You may even see your branch employees again in your new ING branch.

If you really insist, you may change branches. Go to the branch of your choice for more information.

ING does everything to keep online and mobile banking as secure as possible.

However, we are aware that many customers are concerned about their security. For this reason, always follow these three golden rules for secure online banking:

  1. Always log in to Home’Bank via the website ing.be.

  2. Never pass on personal details or PIN numbers.

  3. Always use the number on the back of your ING bank card if you wish to phone the Home’Bank Helpdesk.

Do you have any further questions or doubts? Go to ing.be/security.

You can, of course, always visit your new branch or a Self’Bank in your area.
