How does Google Assistant work?
1) Open Google Assistant on your smartphone or start a conversation through Google Home.
2) Say: ‘Hey Google, talk to ING’
3) ING will welcome you and you can take part in the competition.
What application has ING developed?
To celebrate the launch of Google Assistant in Belgium and as a proud sponsor of the Red Devils, we want to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to one of the Red Devils' matches. The competition runs from 28/05/2019 to 31/08/2019. The assistant can also answer a limited number of frequently asked questions.
The competition, organised by ING Belgium, will run from 28/05/2019 to 31/08/2019. It is open to every private individual who takes part in their own name and who is domiciled in Belgium. The 10 winners are the 10 participants who answer 2 questions correctly via Google Assistant and who come closest to the answer to the tiebreaker question. Each winner will receive a ticket for two people to watch the Red Devils' match Belgium-Cyprus on 19/11/2019. ING will notify the winners by email no later than 30/09/2019. Participation in the competition is free and does not in any way require the participant to purchase any product or service from ING. There is only one entry per person. The competition rules are available on https://www.ing.be/en/retail/my-life/free-time/competitions-regulations. Participation in the competition implies that the participant agrees to these rules fully and without reservation.

Your secure online contact person
Only use the ING applications that are accessible via 'Talk to ING' on the Google Assistant. This application is only available in Belgium. If you are abroad, start a conversation by saying specifically: 'Talk to ING Belgium'. Otherwise, you may end up talking to the local ING application.
ING will never ask for your PIN, your profile code, password or account number. We will never contact you via Google Assistant. If you think that something strange is going on, or if you still have doubts, send an email, maybe including a screenshot, to phishing@ing.be.
Yes, no access to personal bank details are required for the current ING application on Google Assistant. If we offer additional services in future that require a link to personal bank details, we will take the necessary measures. To increase security, we advise you to install Voice Match via the Google Home app. This way, Google Assistant responds to your voice specifically, so that no one else can use your Google profile. In addition, you can install a two-step authentication to further protect your Google account.
Via ‘my activity’ you can see a list of all the questions you have asked Google Assistant both by voice and by text. You can easily delete your history and change the settings for your Google account.
Via the TakeOut application you can request all the data that Google has collected about you. We therefore advise you to delete your past conversations regularly using this process.
