ING Tempo Savings
The ING Tempo Savings is a regulated savings account with an unlimited term and is open to all natural persons of legal age who are resident in Belgium. With this account, you save on a recurring basis without even thinking about it! You can consult it at any time on your smartphone or computer. We advise you to read the information below before opening your savings account.
Where?
You can open the ING Tempo Savings account on your smartphone using the ING Banking app, on your computer with Home'Bank or at a branch.
How much?
You choose how long you want to save for. You create a standing order of up to EUR 500 per month. There is no minimum amount.
How?
You can easily check your savings account balance on your smartphone with the ING Banking app or on your computer with Home'Bank.
Who?
You can open an ING Tempo Savings account in your name only (maximum of one ING Tempo Savings account per holder).
The base rate is 0.70% and the fidelity premium is 0.70%.
Interest rates are expressed on an annual basis and may be adjusted at any time. You can find the current rate online and at any ING branch. If the rate changes, we inform account holders on their account statements.
Opening and closing the savings account is completely free of charge, as are transfers. Online transactions and account statements consulted using Home'Bank are free. The charges for sending account statements to your home are mentioned in the current price list.
You do not pay any withholding tax if the interest generated by your ING Tempo Savings account is less than €980 (tax paid in 2024 on income earned in 2023).
If your interest exceeds €980, you pay 15% withholding tax on the interest exceeding this amount (tax paid in 2024 on income earned in 2023).
ING Tempo Savings is a regulated savings account of ING Bank Belgium LC. Belgian law alone applies.
Your savings of up to €100,000 are protected by the guarantee on savings deposits. In the event of ING going bankrupt or in the event of a risk of bankruptcy, you may lose savings in excess of this amount or be required to reduce/convert them into shares.
