How to file a Statement of Claim?

First, declare your damage and then you may collect and transmit all possible information: photos, quotations for repairs, invoices of damaged objects, etc.

What happens next?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt with the name of your dedicated claim manager, the claim number and his/her contact details. Your claim will then be processed directly via this claim manager, who will be your main point of contact.

Claims appraisals takes place with the necessary precautions: 

  • We will inquire about your health in advance and upon arrival. If necessary, we will postponed the appraisal. 
  • We recommend the use of a face mask.
  • Keep at least 1.5 m distance from each other.
  • Respect the basic hand hygiene rules.
  • To sign the claim form, use your own pen. 
  • Leak detections can take place again in accordance with the above rules. 
  • Repairs in kind are also possible again, in accordance with the above rules.  
  • Have you opted to defer premium payments and does a loss occur in that period? The cover will not be disputed in accordance with the policy conditions. 

ING Car Insurance (provided by NN Insurance)

  • Carglass® Service Centers are open. Carglass applies strict security measures which are announced on their website. Drive-in service is not possible for the time being. You must make an appointment in advance. 
  • The garages are also open with the necessary security measures for their employees and customers. This means that appraisals can take place.  
  • 6 + 6 days of replacement vehicle: the insurer NN will flexibly handle specific requests for extensions. 
  • The vehicle inspection centres reopened on 4 May. If your certificate expires, we will extend the validity until 4 November 2020 for all vehicles that were required to undergo the inspection between 13 March 2020 and 3 June 2020.
