Our app is protected by the highly secured technology of Home’Bank and Business’Bank, which makes handling money infinitely safer. To create your profile on the ING Smart Banking app you need your bank card, your card reader and your Home’Bank or Business’Bank password. Then you must choose a six-digit profile code which you alone will know.
Six digits, that means one million possible combinations. Nonetheless if a hacker tried to misuse your code, your profile would be automatically blocked after the tenth incorrect attempt. Moreover, if your smartphone is lost or stolen, simply call us on +32 2 464 60 04 to block your profile. You can also block your profile directly via Home’Bank or Business’Bank.
To offer the safest possible mobile experience, we have implemented ultra-sophisticated encryption mechanisms. Nevertheless the greatest caution is also required when carrying out mobile transactions. Some tips: never disclose your profile code, do not write it down anywhere, set up a lock code to lock your smartphone or tablet when you are not using it, constantly update the software on your device and only download our ING Smart Banking app through the official Apple Store or Google Play Store sites.
